You may come across a dozen other “vein specialists” or “vein clinics” with promises of “Free Consultations” or “15 convenient locations to serve you,” but beware. When it comes to treating venous insufficiency in Houston, there are a lot of good doctors out there, but radiologists, cardiologists, and dermatologists are not trained in vascular medicine. They are not board certified vascular surgeons with the specialization in vascular medicine. They cannot and do not provide the level of education, technology, and care that our vein clinic at Texas Vein & Cosmetic Specialists does. Please consider that at your new patient evaluation at Texas Vein & Cosmetic Specialists, we will do the following:

  1. We will evaluate the circulation veins, and if warranted, evaluate major arteries.
  2. Our practice has emphasized the treatment of veins for the past 25+ years, and for the last 8 years, we have focused exclusively on the treatment of compromised and unhealthy veins.
  3. Dr. Bardwil’s surgical and vascular surgery background is second to none.
  4. Dr. Bardwil has been a pioneer and innovator who has helped to developed tools and techniques that have been used by physicians across the country to treat venous disorders.
  5. Dr. Bardwil has been an educator of physicians, both nationally and internationally, in the treatment of veins.
  6. No individual in the Houston area – or perhaps Texas – has more experience in the treatment of veins.
  7. At your new patient appointment, you will only be seen by Dr. Bardwil. At other “vein centers,” you are seen by a radiologist, physician assistant, or RN.
  8. Our main office was built by Dr. Bardwil as a stand-alone center , so parking is easy and convenient. Our facility was specifically developed for the treatment of veins.
  9. Our friendly and accommodating staff is experienced in handling insurance approvals, scheduling and facilitating your treatment.
  10. We offer reasonable pricing with financing options for patients who have high insurance deductibles, or who either don’t have insurance or choose not to use their insurance.
  11. Serving the greater Houston area for more than 25 years, we offer three convenient locations to better serve our patients. We are now seeing patients twice a month in The Woodlands, and Tuesday mornings in Katy. Our main location sees patients Monday thru Friday and is conveniently located in the Energy Corridor of Houston off I-10 and N. Eldridge Parkway between Memorial Drive and Briar Forest.
  12. In addition to vein treatment, minor cosmetic services are available so you can look and feel your best. We offer one the most advanced lasers on the market for photo-facials, skin resurfacing, and skin tightening, and fillers and injectibles such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, and others are offered at reduced pricing for our established patients.
  13. We offer convenient scheduling, including late appointments on Tuesdays, and for the convenience of working patients, we offer surgeries twice a month on Saturdays.
  14. Dr. Bardwil is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and is credentialed to interpret ultrasounds on site, providing you with instant feedback and interpretation of bloodflow within the veins.
  15. You wouldn’t let your dermatologist perform heart surgery on you … why would you let them attempt to treat your precious veins? Board certification in vascular surgery is an essential consideration for appropriate vein treatment.
