When it comes to spider veins and other unsightly vein conditions that can be embarrassing as well as somewhat painful, we finally have a way to deal with them that is simple, quick, effective, and with minimal discomfort. It’s called the VeinGogh System. This system is in a class of devices referred to as ohmic thermolysis devices.
What is VeinGogh Treatment?
Basically, it is a highly accurate form of treatment that uses an ultra-thin probe to enter the unsightly small spider veins, particularly like the ones on the face. Very quickly, it fires a short precise electric burst, which causes the vein to coagulate and recede. This almost immediately causes the area to look cleaner with the vein drifting back out of sight.
While lasers are skin-type dependent and have an inherent risk of injury, VeinGogh treatment uses a hair-thin, insulated probe to thermocoagulate and instantly eliminate tiny spider veins, and facial spider veins dependably, repeatedly, and on any skin-type.
The VeinGogh treatment uses a patented microburst technology that is so quick and covers such a precise area.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is a little less than sclerotherapy and a lot less than the laser. Patients have the option of using numbing cream if they choose, for a slight additional fee.
VeinGogh vs Sclerotherapy
While sclerotherapy remains the gold standard for treatment of spider veins, VeinGogh shows great results with small residual spider veins after sclerotherapy, and for facial spider veins, making it a valuable additional tool to have in the toolbox of the vein specialist.
